Love for Their Country
On 9-11 I went to a memorial honoring all of those who lost their lives on that sad day. It was such a touching memorial that it made grown men cry.
I was very fortunate to be participating as a color guard retiring a flag flown on that day (9-11).
9-11 was a very sad day but I believe it is amazing how we came back stronger and better. What I mean by that is that we are more of a whole nation and we've come together.
God Bless America

What a moving paragraph! It is not easy to write emotions. I have a real feel for how much this moment in your life meant to you. I think you chose your words very well. You have given me a clear picture of this memorial. Well done!

My husband and I watched a movie this weekend that sparked a discussion comparing 9-11 to Pearl Harbor. We lost over 3,000 people in both instances. Both instances were horrible! What can we, as a country of "the Free and the Brave", do to prevent this from happening again?
