Hello again! This is Lucy writing. This week we're going to write a story about something on the news. What I'm going to tell you about is about a SNIPER and what he is doing. He has shot a 13year old and shot other people. The 13year old is still in the hospital. The school he goes to is Benjamin's Middle School. That's all I have to share about this story.
My next story is about "A Walk in Someone Else's Shoes."It's about kids or teens that switch places with someone that is different. A girl that is a cheerleader and is thin switchs places with a girl that is stout and unpopular. Well, the cheerleader got all this make-up on and this suit that made her look stout and heavy. Well, she learned what it felt like and now she knows what to keep to herself. She also learned if your stout people will make fun of you and she learned that it made her feel sad and unoticed. She said herself that she will treat everyone equal no-matter how they might look. From TFK.

Lucy,
You seem to have some great ideas. I like that you are compassionate and seem to care about people. I guess that is what living in this world is all about. The two topics you chose to write on make me very sad. Maybe you could write on ways to make our world a better place to be in! Keep up the good work.

Thank you for taking the time to write to me! It makes me feel noticed. In our normal computer we have already written about making the world a better place. I will see if the teacher will make a copy to put on the website and I have to check with Mrs.Davis. I've written a longer story about the Sniper I thimk that is all I have to say and thank you so much Ms.Gidson.
