From Sea to Shining Sea

Sebastian Clover, 15 had a winning finish, though he didn't win. Clover became the youngest sailor to cross the Atlantic Ocean. (Is that cool, or what?) Sebastian sailed from Spain's Canary Islands to the Caribbean Island of Antigua. You're probably wondering, how many miles is that? Its 3,000 miles! Clover started training when his dad told him they should race each other, that was three years ago. Clover began the race on December 19. Sebastian had a killer whale follow him the whole trip. Of course, the whale was trying to keep him from danger. I think Clover was a brave person to travel this long way by himself, I know I wouldn't be able to do that.

What's the Big Idea? by Brianna

Have you ever been to school in the month of May? When May comes around, in most schools you do the SAT9 test. I think that the SAT9 test is unnecessary, because it judges how smart you are on that particular day. Also I think it isnt fair that teachers get blamed for the students scores on the test. The people who make this test have no right to call kids dumb and say that the teachers arent teaching the kids correctly. The SAT9 test should be put to an end!

BIG Or Small

What would you do if you were dared to switch places with a bigger peer? Well, two teen age girls were willing to break the ice between big and small sized people. Big or smaall we are all special in some kind of way. No matter how big you are you still have feelings and a heart full of love and passion. No mater how small you are you still have feelings and no right to pick on bigger sized people! Big or small you still are beautiful on the inside and outside!

Brianna's First News Post

&lt;<font face="Verdana">font color="orange">Would you be willing to change places with a "heavy" individual? I would definitly switch places with a heavy person. Just think for one moment what it would be like to experience a heavy persons emotions. If you were heavy person you would have no friends. I think that no matter how heavy you are you can still be a nice person to talk to. You should never judge a book by its cover. What that means is that should should never judge anybody before you get to know them. I would feel very mistreated if some peer was gossiping about me.
