Hariot Tubman and the Underground Railroad

A long time ago there was a woman named Hariot Tubman. Hariot Tubman was famous for leading black slaves through the UGRR.

The UGRR stands for Underground railroad. Hariot Tubman was a slave herself so she knew how they felt. When she was young as a slave she was told to kill a slave who tried to escape she refused and she was whipped alot.

When she grew up she decided that she would lead the slaves to the north to help them, but she would have to do her job as the UGRR worker she decided to lead them through the UGRR and she suceeded, she lead over 300 to the north and thats where they lived.
