Over spring break I didn't know what to write about.when I heard about the Pope I thought it was very sad and i wanted to write about him.
My Report
Over a few weeks in March the pope John Paul II had been coming out and in of the hospital. He suffered of Parkinson's disease, which made it hard to breathe for him. He also had trouble walking and speaking. On February 24, the Pope had surgery to insert a tube in his throat to help him breathe. When it was declared that the Pope would not recover more than 1,000 people went to the Vatican to see him.they announced that in the Pope's condition he would pass away in less than 48 hours. On April 2, He sadly passed away. He always tried to hope where ever he could. He was the first Pope to visit Cuba. He was also the only one that visited a Muslim place knowing that they were a different religion. We all know that he will rest in peace and even though he is gone physically he will always be with us.
You are right about Pope John Paul bringing hope wherever he went. He really worked hard to bring the religions of the world together, to help us all learn to get along with each other. He was a great man.
