A few days ago, I wrote to a teacher- to- be. We have been doing a bit of writing back and forth with each other. Here is what she had to say about my selection of writing...
" I thought the blog I read was very sweet. The student was so excited to be sharing her ideas with me. She had a great outlook on learning and teachers. She made me feel very excited about becoming a teacher. Her main advice was to make learning fun. I totally agree. Fun in the classroom has been one of my personal missions. She was very encouraging. I think that blogging is a good way of engaging the students."
Wasn't that post so nice? I think so. I really put a lot of effort into the writing that I did about what teachers-to-be should do in order to have a lively classroom. This nice woman's name is Addie. She taught me a little even though she probably didn't know it. She taught me that teachers really do listen to other children's thoughts and ideas.
Thank you so much Shelby. Your post was so thoughtful. I am glad that we can learn from each other. You taught me that students really enjoy the fun learning activities. I am happy to be an example to you that teachers really do listen to their students. Have a good day at school. Keep blogging.
