I'm writing about an article called "Turning Up The Heat".

   Antarctica starts to melt because of the weather and because of the temperature of the ocean and of the air. Scientist think that maybe the pollution  is causing the earth to warm up to quick in fact studies are saying that  the earth is warming up to quick than they thought. The temperature is more sensitive to pollution. Ice sheets, glaciers, and polar ice caps are starting to melt which can cause the ocean's water to rise up and cause serious floodings and also violent droughts. Polar Bears can also become instinct because the ice can melt and polar bears can't live without cold weather. It can be a serious problem if we lose our polar bears because they are a important part of earth.

I think technology is very important in today society. I think technology should be used in everyway and with everything..hould be used in all kinds of things. Also we should not only use the computers for things that we really need but for other things too. Also we should also have like computers ike in public places. I think that kids would enjoy this lesson plan.

What I've Learned

This year so far with blogging I have learned so much. I have learned things like what blogging really means. When we first started to blog we had to know what blogging was really about. After going to weblog classes for about a week that's when we started to blog and post. We learned how to post on TypePad and then get our posts published on our weblog. After posting we had been getting comments from people in the school and from other part of states and even as far as Japan. Little by little we learned how to start improving in our writings like looking for careless mistakes. We just now got done learning how to hyperlink and insert pictures along with our post. We've also learned how to make sure that our writing feels like we have our voice in it. Not only that but we have started to make our writing much better.

Spilling the beans

I read Ashley's post called Spilling the Beans . This is the way that Ashley explained it "Spilling the beans is when you tell a secret'. I think that Ashley explained this subject really good. Not only did Ashley explain it good but she talKed about it really good.

Learning to Blog

As soon as we came in with the other bloggers we started to read The Write Weblog. It is also called the class weblog. We next went to our weblogs and read our comments that we had gotten. After that we learned how to blog. Then we went to the GSU student blogs and picked out a sentence that we liked and found what was most interesting about the post. After  we had found our piece of sentence that we liked the most we copied it and then went to Microscoft Word and pasted it there. When we were done with that we wrote something about the sentence that we had chosen.

 

Teacher-To-Be

I think that you should be teachers. I'm in the fifth grade and I think that as a teacher you would want the student to like you. You can maybe do this by getting their attention. By getting their attention you can maybe tell them that you would give them something like you can have a bowl of candy and just be giving it out when you want. Also I think that the kids should have as attention as the others.I think that it depends on what grade you are teaching because lower elementary classes like the 1,2,kindergarten,and pre-k need more attention. Also you guys can give the certain kids like the ones that are bad or don't like to do their work give them something very interesting like projects so that they can get interested and want to start doing work. I also think that most teachers always give up when someone don't understand something and they don't want to say it again I think they do that because they get frustrated saying it again and again. I don't think that teachers should get mad when a child don't get something, because their main job is to help children learn not get mad at them because they don't understand whatever they need help on. Teachers to me like it when children ask them something and teachers who are like that to me are very nice. not only that but teachers also need to be fair with all children not only to the ones who they want to pay attention to. I also think that they only really and usually talk to mainly one because they used to talking with them so much they will only want to talk to them because they are used to it. Those kind of teacher to me aren't fair. That's what I think teachers do and also think about the students.

Sharks

Nick Peterson was 18 years old when he was surfing and fell off of the surf  board and then dragged by a boat that was 300 meters away from the Australian coast. A witness says that he saw two great white sharks. But police say that they think that only one shark could have killed Nick. Since the attack on Friday surfers have stayed way from the water. Yet no one knows what killed Nick Peterson.

Sudan

     A girl's village gets burned. Her family had to live under a plastic sheet because they had no tent and barely any food to eat. Her family had to be sent away to a refugee camp where soldiers helped give them a tent and a couple of foods for them to eat.
